Fifth Bangladeshi Atheist Hacked To Death This Year

I saw a tweet announcing 43-year-old Faisal Arefin Dipon's death about 4 hours ago but was too filled with a combination of dread and deep sadness to even begin to look for details. He was found dead by his father, Abul Kashem Fazlul Haq, a writer.
He becomes the fifth Bangladeshi atheist to be brutally murdered by miscreants in a country where the most tepid of efforts has been made to bring the perpetrators to justice. Niloy Chatterjee, who was murdered in August was the fourth to be killed and the details of his murder and the devastating effects it had on his wife, who watched the whole thing, can be read here.
Although some arrests have been made in connection with one or two of the murders, the Bangladeshi government has shown, with its poor handling of their prosecution, that it would rather back extremists who kill at will, than protect the lives of those who do not subscribe to the religion of the majority. Before Mr Dipon was killed today, there was an attempt on the lives of three other men which resulted in injuries but no fatalities.
The UK, where I live, is treading a dangerous path in its support of islam and muslims so that it would not be seen as islamophobic, and all in the name of political correctness. Police in Rotherham ignored a muslim sex gang that groomed and molested young white girls for years because they did not want to be seen as racist. I just posted on facebook that Britain would greatly regret its support of islam and muslims. And I still stand by my words.
