I predicted that more mosques would be attacked in northern Nigeria by the Boko Haram terrorists barely 8 hours ago, and while it gives me no pleasure whatsoever, at least 27 persons have been killed and another 96 injured in a second suicide bombing attack in a single day, this time in a mosque in Yola, Adamawa state.
The death toll for the earlier bombing in Maiduguri, Borno state, has increased from the initial 6 persons reported to 28, and it is expected that some more of those who were injured will succumb to their injuries. Boko Haram obviously enjoys blowing up mosques just as worshippers are gathering for prayers, and I daresay that those who still have the courage to go to the mosques to pray, especially in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe states, which are the states currently under siege by the terrorists, may be beginning to see themselves as martyrs, since they died in a mosque, during prayers. Paradise awaits saints...
